Drivers Central is helping many find success with the nation's largest trucking company, Swift Transportation. Applicants with no driving experience at all can find themselves driving to a new career by enrolling in a Class A driving course with Swift. This paid training will allow OTR driver hopefuls to receive their Class A CDL, complete a four to six week mentorship program, and then continue on to become a solo driver themselves.
Drivers with Swift Transportation are eligible to drive within "Comfort Zones" which allow drivers to stay within a regional area closer to home. These comfort zones range in size, averaging about 7-10 states. By keeping drivers closer to home, they have more opportunity to receive more frequent home time making OTR driving even more enjoyable.
Other benefits for Swift trucking jobs include great starting pay and health benefits including: medical, dental, vision, 401k, etc.. Of course all of these benefits are also for truck drivers who already have their Class A license and are desirous to make a change to Swift Transportation.
